Put an End to Your Underarm Sweat - Health - Alternative Medicine

Nearly everyone experiences underarm sweat at some point. The actual act of sweating from your armpits begins in adolescence and continues through adulthood. While nearly everyone in the world sweats, not all people who sweat can control it with antiperspirants and deodorants. Many people suffer from a condition that causes excessive sweating. This sweating comes from the hands, thighs, feet and underarms and can be very debilitating considering the embarrassment that it causes.

Those who simply have moderate to average underarm sweat do not typically find themselves frantically searching for underarm pads or wearing undershirts every day to keep the sweat from showing. Although, typically in the teenage years and early adulthood, many people who are active may seem to sweat a lot, this is not necessarily considered to be a problem. Those who sweat profusely even when being sedentary are the ones who are diagnosed with excessive sweating conditions.

There are many things that you can do to curb your underarm sweating. Things such as avoiding caffeine have helped many people to take control of their sweat. Caffeine in excessive amounts, such as more than two or three cups of coffee each day, can contribute to underarm sweat.

Even though there are many people suffering from excessive sweating who wear undershirts every day, it is recommended that you do not wear undershirts on hot days. Although they are ideal for soaking up sweat, they can also increase your body temperature making you sweat more. So, if you are bothered by underarm sweat and continue to wear undershirts to hide it, you may actually be contributing to your problem.

You may also want to try detoxifying your body. Toxin levels tend to bring on underarm sweat. By eating things high in magnesium such as pumpkin seeds, you can help to flush your system out, removing these toxins and alleviating underarm sweating.
