Want a no sweat life? Literally it is a desperate thing to ask for. Because sweating is and will always be a part of the human body. But there are some people who share the same pain when it comes to sweating - excessively and uncontrollably. Sweating heavily without apparent causes like no hot temperature, or tiring workouts, are in included as few concerns. Thus, most ends up hiding in shame, changing clothes, and avoiding raising arms because wet stains might juts appear in the armpit. Maybe, it's time to know the true reasons for those dripping sweats.

Having underarm sweat more than the usual intensity for a person might be a sign of a condition of excessive sweating armpit. The armpit is a common problem sweating area of many people. This axillary hyperhidrosis is a medical disorder of sweating excessively. Sweating, not a new thing for people is a function of the body which normally aids in removing harmful toxins through fluids secretion. But having sweats for no apparent reason and more than average rate, shows sweating disorder. The armpit is consists of two kinds of sweat glands; the Eccrine and Apocrine glands. The latter is the one concerned for producing excessive sweat causing body odor.

Like every other unraveled truth, there are causes why and how people from teenagers to adults get the condition. Factors affecting the sweat glands functions include body system and lifestyle factors. The body system factors are genes, hormones and nervous system. Genetic disorder like axillary hyperhidrosis may be carried down through generations. Hormonal changes in adolescents can cause it too. Nervous system when working uncontrollably leads to the disorder.

Every person sticks to a different lifestyle. But some habits affects sweating: indulging too much food with fats, physical exhaustion and having anxiety. Obesity as a result of alcohol and caffeine in excess is bad to maintaining balanced sweat rate. Tiring physical activities can trigger axillary hyperhidrosis too. Emotional stress affects the nervous system which controls the sweat glands producing body liquids

The sight of extreme sweat stains in the armpit, bad odor and uncomfortable sticky feeling may result from heavy sweating. It may lead to annoyance and inconvenience while doing things everyday. People afflicted with this disorder also develop skin infections and dehydration.

Besides the most obvious effects, social isolation, stress, decreased self- confidence and lost enthusiasm to live a normal life are what lies ahead of the people with sweating disorder. At the start, physical effects may be the only problem, but without knowing what the condition really is, leads to psychological downfalls.
