Football Shirts - Buy New or a Retro Top? - Travel

When a football team changes their shirt, be it through a Modern time and therefore a new blueprint or a new sponsor a squad will change its kit. Any loyal supporter will not want to be seen in last years shirt so they automatically purchase the new kit at large pay out ! . It is not a closed book that football teams make a gigantic amount of money from the sales agreement of their recent kit which is why they are changed regularly. A change of kit can make a Premier League team about 5,000,000 a new season or maybe more and thats just for permitting a single producer to make it under licence . Whilst it wont pay for the transfer fee of their new players it for certain helps and for performing absolutely nothing well it cant be crappy ! .Next set out the supporters and owning the patron of the football club impressed everywhere on their shirts was one of the big advertizing slots available ever. So if we occupy the Manchester United shirt, the patron for 'em is Aon this y ear and so on each formalized football shirt sold worldwide for Man Utd. , the make Aeon will feature on it, which really exposes the power of the football shirt in this modern era. With the recent receding and the realization that football shirts are becoming more and more too expensive , a lot of lovers are turning to buying retro tops. A shirt from a heroic era of the clubs history, be it from 10, 20 or 30 years ago and more commonly being worn by diehard fans. A football shirt in the type of a clubs old design can supply the wearer with a top which is unique amongst the crew . Not only is it fancy as many of us will not have one (the sheep invariably wear the late shirt) a retro shirt shows that the wearer is a long time friend and always gains admiring coup d'oeils from other team devotees . Football shirts in our contemporary world are produce of polyester or some other god awful fabric sweat inducing , hot and well a little bit too tight (Im allowed Im 46!) Give me th e loose cotton shirts of old Im not an Italian rugby player and I dont have a 6 pack so please give me a cotton loose fitting shirt! . So, what does a football lover who would love to opt for a new shirt do? Buy the latest sponsor produced kit or go for a top from the 60s or 70s? . Lay yourself in someone elses shoes (or iron boots !) Wear the latest shirt or wear one from yesteryear? I would never reckon the first option when I walk amongst the many Liverpool champions at Anfield I wear a 60s football shirt and the admiring glances from the sheep affirms that they are all jealous . As a matter of fact I think virtually all of them look at me in strong mental confusion as they find the emblem but dont know the shirt! Nestlings ah well. So would I be a sheep and buy the recent sponsored football shirt, and belike give well over the odds for it? No way. Give me a shirt from when they were last champions . Wear it with pridefulness and just smirk when you see the looks you get at the next match or taphouse! .
